چکیده
Recently, numerous cases of dermatophytosis resistant to terbinafine were reported. These have been increasing in frequency, with no improvement even treatment using systemic therapies. Our objective was determine the antifungal activity efinaconazole compared fluconazole, itraconazole, and against dermatophyte, Candida, mold clinical isolates In vitro. Activity antifungals assessed minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) fungicidal concentration(MFC). Isolates tested included susceptible Trichophyton mentagrophytes (n=16), T. rubrum(n=43), tonsurans (n=18), violaceum (n=4), Candida albicans (n=55), C. auris (n=30), Fusarium sp., Scedosporium Scopulariopsis sp. (n=15 for each). Against dermatophytes, most active other agents MIC50 MIC90 (Concentration that inhibited 50% 90% strains tested, respectively) 0.002 0.03 μg/ml, respectively. While itraconazole showed 1 8 0.25 0.031 16 isolates, 0.016 contrast, had 0.5 2 different species, MIC ranged between a range from higher than 64 μg/ml comparators. conclusion potent broad panel dermatophyte isolates. Furthermore, Efinaconazole demonstrated high

In-vitro comparative activity of UR-9825, itraconazole and fluconazole against clinical isolates of Candida spp.
UR-9825 is a new broad-spectrum triazole antifungal agent with a good pharmacokinetic profile and excellent bioavailability. It shows high in-vitro activity and efficacy in models of systemic candidosis in rats and rabbits, comparing favourably with fluconazole. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the in-vitro activity of UR-9825 and to compare it with that of fluconazole and itraconazole...

Backgrounds and aims: Candida albicans is more prevalent between Candida species which can cause candidal infection. Various studies have shown drug resistance among the C. albicans isolates, so it is now necessary to discover replacement treatments for the Candida infection. The aim of this study is comparison the effects of different Essential oils (EOs) against azoles-resistant and azoles-su...
